The Committee recommended that the Governor should be asked to provide a fuller report in future. There was some general discussion about the problem of

creating too pleasant conditione for the prisoners

in the new gaol at Stanley. Certain passages from the Report of the Legislative Council debates dealing with this matter were brought to the Committee's notice.
